Return Policy

Sale Prices

We make every effort to ensure that the prices displayed on our website are accurate. If an error occurs and there is a discrepancy between the online price and the in-store price, the in-store price will be considered the correct one.

Item Hold (Layaway)

Items may be reserved with a deposit equal to 50% of the total value of the item. A hold is valid for 5 business days. Dumoulin Bicyclettes will contact you once this period has elapsed.

We may also offer 24 to 48-hour holds without a deposit, depending on the situation.

Refunds, Exchanges, and Store Credit

If you are not satisfied with your purchase, you may return to the store to obtain a store credit, an exchange, or a refund. To qualify for one of these return options, the following conditions must be met:

• The merchandise must have been purchased at Dumoulin Bicyclettes.
• Returns must be made within 5 days of the purchase date.
• No returns will be accepted without a receipt.
• Refunds will be issued using the original method of payment.
• All returned items must be in perfect condition, fully functional, clean, and include all accessories, packaging, instruction manuals, etc. We reserve the right to charge a fee if the product or packaging is damaged.
• Store credits may be issued in the form of a gift card.

Bicycle Purchases

Bicycles purchased at Dumoulin Bicyclettes may be returned, provided that the return conditions listed above are met. In addition, a restocking fee of 10% of the total invoice amount will be charged for bicycle returns.

Please do not hesitate to contact us. If we are unable to accept your request, we will explain the reason why.

Exceptions and Exclusions

The following items are excluded from our return policy and cannot be returned, credited, or exchanged:

• Clothing and textile accessories
• Helmets
• Brooks saddles (all models)
• Any item purchased as a special order
• Items purchased on clearance or final sale

Online Store Purchases

Returns

The same return conditions listed above apply to online purchases.

If you are not satisfied or have changed your mind, please follow the steps below within 5 days of the invoice date:

1. Contact us to obtain a return authorization number.
2. Return the items at your expense, or according to the conditions agreed upon in Step 1. (Return conditions for online purchases are the same as those in store.)
3. Clearly display the following information on the package:Dumoulin Bicyclettes – Return # XXXXX173 Jean-Talon Street EastMontréal, Québec, H2R 1S8
4. We will confirm receipt of the package by email. Once received, we will proceed with the agreed solution: exchange, store credit, or refund.

Non-Refundable Fees

All delivery, shipping, and handling fees are non-refundable, except in the case of an error made during the shipment of your order.
